We, The Royal Initiative Discovery Foundation (RIDF), develop communities by focusing on knowledge-based community development, which weighs each issue according to the geographic and problematic conditions of each area. The Foundation applies the principles of knowledge of the Six Dimensions of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, they are soil, water, agriculture, renewable energy, forests, and environment. The weight of each subject will be adjusted according to the social geography and community problems in each area. The Six Dimensions of knowledge will be applied differently. For example, in the Water Dimension, RIDF will focus on the development of water sources, how to keep water within the country as long as possible, and maximizing the use of every drop of water. This includes methods for making royal rainwater, the Chaiphattana Aerator, check dams & weirs making, and biological wastewater treatment. For the Forest Dimension, RIDF will focus on the methods of reforestation, which are reforestation in the hearts of people, Three forests for Four benefits (three-type forests for four benefits), watershed forests and reservoirs, wet fire break system, and reforestation without planting. We emphasize community involvement in every process and analyze problems and take as much action as possible so that the community has a sense of ownership of the project in order to lead to sustainable development.
